Ok so 1st the Spec
  • Ryzen 5 3600
  • 16GB DDR4 3400Mhz Vengance
  • GTX1060 6GB SC
  • 500GB NvME

So the PC will randomly Black Screen, It will stay on however just no display. Only way to get this back is a head reset. I suspected a driver issue ran in Safe Mode with DDU. I then ran Heaven for 4 and half hours with no issues at all however as soon as I stopped Heaven it happened straight away.

Any Ideas Guys?

Has been working fine since built around 3 months ago, Its an MSI B450 Mortar Max and i updated the BIOS this morning. This issue was before the update I add

I used to have this on earlier BIOS version with my MSI B450 Tomahawk, thought it was GPU related, turned out to be Ram/XMP/PBO related, it handled high loads fine, but suddenly removing loads seemed to get the lockup/black screen for me also. It seems to fix itself for me after a BIOS update, along with selecting XMP profile 2 on my Ram, along with a good old fashioned clear CMOS with battery removal. Might be worth a look?

Just a quick update, CMOS reset and changed XMP to Profile 2, Ran Heaven for 3 hours then ended to see and no crashses so fingers crossed! Thanks for the guidance VaderDSL!
