I've had (hidden) files appearing in my root C directory. The first one was created on the 9th. They are called
sqmnooptXX.sqm
where XX starts at 00 and so far is at 08.
They are all less than 1 kb in size (240 ish bytes)

Google doesnt seem to turn up anything and the only sqm extension I can find info on is operation flashpoint save games.
Anyone have any idea on this?

Are you running either SQL or Mail Marshal? both of these programs create .sqm files - i think the mail marshal ones are Quarentine files - not sure about the sql ones. Is that any use to you?

Not runing either of them, no. The only new thing I've installed are some canon drivers, and canon image utility programs, but they were reinstalls anyway.

You got anyway of posting one of these files, some of us could take a look at them and maybe shed some light, if you have a hex editor even better, open up the file in it and post the contents, hex and ascii please.
