Pretty much done a full new build over the last few days. Having strange issues some drivers will not install, installers just stop with critical error message not sure what to check first system seems stable otherwise. System running under win10, 6700k stock, 32GB corsair dominator 3200mhz and just a gpu and one sata ssd. Also had issues with asus suit 3 not starting up after install hanging when it does launch etc. Have not been able to install 90% of the asus drivers for the VIII formula. Not sure what's up??

The initial suspect would be the memory, followed by the SSD.

I would take two sticks out, lower frequency to 2133/2440 (whichever is default non-XMP for your board), and test (i.e. use as normal, try and install drivers etc). Then test with the other two sticks. Don't go straight to Memtest'ing, save that for later. Memtest could come out clean and make you think it's something else (which it might but you want to test memory in other ways too to rule it out completely).

Done the above but still having problems installing the chipset driver and getting asus suit 3 to open after install not sure if it's just these two that have issues with windows 10

Well I did an Asus build (it was Z97 not Z170) with bad RAM (didn't know it at the time) and had issues with drivers, and Asus Suite. Even after replacing the RAM (which Memtest found to be faulty - actually both kits of two sticks each, surprisingly), I had to reinstall Windows as it was corrupted.

Not sure what else to suggest here, other than give Memtest a go and reinstall Windows if needed (but only if Memtest gives the all clear). Using an official Asus Suite uninstaller might work too, perhaps. You'd have to search for the right one for your mobo.

Keep eye on thread for suggestions from others.

Thanks for the help Danny75, had 3 random restarts within 30min window uninstalling asus suit 3 has helped as no other restarts in the past few hours.

Memtest came back fine so had to do a reinstall and so far everything seems to work fine think something went wrong when I did the install with the quad 32gb kit in xmp. Now running with 2 modules will return the quad kit and pickup 2x 16gb. Not sure what to do about the xmp setting tho.

Try a slightly slower kit? Won't make a real difference to performance but is a bit extra guarantee of stability.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £278.69
(includes shipping: £8.70)

There are cheaper kits, just guessing you really like those.

Thanks for the help danny75.

As the rig is running alright now doing some cable management looks ok atm just need to sort out the sata power cables due to my ocd.

That looks so neat. Nice-looking rig too. May want to not have that rug under it though? Likely blocking PSU intake. Maybe you just have it there temporarily, ofc.

Just had it there after doing the cables and powered it on to see if I had all the cables connected up again.
