Strange goings on..

So I got a service esc message on the dash. Went to my mates who has a diagnostic tool and plugged it in to reveal I needed a new ABS sensor so no Biggie .

He then reset all the codes and as soon as I drive off my clutch starts clunking In some gear towards the top the the peddle. It went soft also

I drove it again and all seems fine so far. Just confused as to why this would happen ?

I can only think of it resseting some info but the clutch pedal?

Insignia 2014. Just took it out and it did it twice. More of a light click now 75,% up the pedal if that makes sense .

Literally started this as soon as he did the diagnostics. Coincidence?

Springs come out on one side under the clutch pedal . Sorted
