Hi - having an odd issue and wondering if anyone can help at all??
Whenever I put the computer in sleep mode and then wake it up I've noticed that the GPU doesn't seem to operate at full speed?!
For example GPU utilization may only be 40% in a game (and very choppy frame rates) when compared with a full reset the game will play fine and 98% GPU useage. I've tested this with Heaven and noticed the same thing.
Specs -
Ryzen 1700
ASrock X370 Taichi
GTX1080 TI
16GB DDR4 Ram
Windows is fully up to date and I'm running the latest Nvidia drivers. (382.53).
Is this simply a strange driver issue or possibly something else?
If I reset the PC - everything is back to normal.
I only built the PC a few weeks ago and haven't done much gaming so I don't know how long it has been doing this or if it's only since the latest Nvidia driver update for example.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks!
