For around a week I have been getting strange green lines both in games and while watching movies. I also get this on my browser taskbar.

I know this isn't my screen at fault as I can capture it in a screen shot.

A few examples-

I have cleaned out the old driver and put in a new one. I intend to reinstall W7 before looking into my graphics card. Anyone shine any light on this, or had anything similar?

I have scoured the net but can't find anyhting similar.

try finding c1e and disabling it in the bios,it will be under advanced cpu features I think

if that don't fix it try turning off intelspeedstep just to see if its power saving that's affecting it

try c1e first though

(do the green lines slowly roll down the screen?)

Disabled both one at a time to no avail. Also other profiles are affected by this.

Even the login screen has this, which makes me think the graphics card is possibly faulty.

tried reseating the gpu? it could be interference emi leakage

also clean the gold fingers on the gpu that slot into the mb,try in the lowest pcie slot you can

Just checked with the e-tailer incase it's still under warranty. In my account it says not, however Nvidia suggest it's 3 years warranty.

It was purchaed 28/02/2013.

Just been onto Nvidia who advised dealing with the manufacturer of the card Gigaybte.

On the Gigabte warranty section it says contact the location where the original order was placed. I would have thought with it's age, it would have been Gigabytes issue. Rang the e-tailer and they are closed aghhhhh.

While on chat to Nvidia, they asked me to download and run a video stability test software.

Ran for 30 minutes with no issue.
