Strange happenings after installing new cooler....

Hey. I just installed the Arctic Freezer 84 Pro (so fiddly that thing), everything seemed fine while installing it. The force of taking out the old heatsink didn't remove the chip or anything. But when I booted up after installing I get an error saying "checksum error..." then it said something about clearing the CMOS.

It restarted, took a little longer than normal, and a message popped up saying "Clock time and date incorrect...", so I looked, and it was set to 23rd of December 2002.

Is that normal after clearing the CMOS? (I didn't even do it lol)

that is normal don't worry. Just set the time and continue. if it keeps happening you may need to replace cmos battery

Alright. Well I've restarted my computer since then, so I guess it'll be alright.
