I do have a bit of very persistent IR on my Panny G15 tv. I can quite clearly Mage out a BBC logo and grey bar along the bottom of a dark screen. I guess I watch far too much BBC news 24 channel! A good way of clearing IR, if you have your pc hooked up to it, is to run one of those pixel unsticking programs. It I'd just a mass of flashing, multi colored pixels but it gives them a good workout.
I've always wondered about the image processing that is included in these screens. Dynamic this and IFC that. The almost universal opinion to these is "turn em off and leave em off" why do they bother with such things when they are universally dismissed, or even degrade the image???
