Strange internet issues

Recently I've been getting intermittent 404/no server access on random websites, which often need a reboot to fix. Sometimes it would affect every site on my bookmarks, or just a few odd selections such as google and bbcnews while sites like 4chan and ocuk load just fine. At worst, browsing is 404'd everywhere despite being able to log in successfully to Steam, World of Warcraft, Live Messenger and so on. My PS3 and Wii console browsers are not affected by this except for maybe one isolated example where the PS3 browser said there was a DNS issue, but I haven't seen it again since that time.

When I try to use diagnose and repair (Vista is my OS) on the network center, sometimes it will say 'there is no problem' and other times it says there is an IP conflict. I set it to get ip4 and ip6 automatically. My computer's IP is 192.168.0.2 while my wireless router is 192.168.0.1 so I don't know where the conflict is coming from - I don't have anything else connected to my PC or my router. I am thinking the problem lies with some DNS issue somewhere. If there's a solution that can apply to a wide range of minor DNS/IP issues, I'd be glad to see it.

It's doing it again... ocuk forums won't load on my PC but it's fine on the PS3. That's what I'm posting from right now.
