So after installing intel Matrix Storage Manager 8.9 from the asus website i opened my main work file (which is about 300 pages long with quite a bit of copy and paste from articles if that makes a difference) and it says

"Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt. Try the following..."
Open and repair the file - Tried and failed
Open the file with the text recovery convertor - How do i go about doing this step?

This seems to be the only documents file affected.

I have done full virus scans with nothing found though they took far longer than normal

I have done a "fix file system errors" and it completed normally

I did Scan for and attempt recover of bad sectors - "Some problems were found and fixed. Any files that were affected by these problems were moved to a folder named "found"
I cant seem to find this folder, any one know where to look. I have looked in the folder where the file in question is with "hidden files" deselected

"Found 4947310 bad clusters. The volume bitmap is incorrect windows found problems with the file system. Run CHKKSK wit the /F (fix) option to correct these" - How do i do this? Is this the same or better/worse as transferring all the data off and doing a full format and writing zeros (which i plan to do)?

Later is discovered that i could not play most of my video files; VLC would often just hang, media player would say "May not support the file type or the media coed installed" - It does normally

The strangest part of this is that when i select a specific file a completely different video is played, one that is not even in the same directory or folder as the file i am clicking on!

The drive in question is a WD Black 4TB WD4003FZEX which stays around or under 50c

I had a BSOD a few days ago which im not sure is linked to this

After uninstalling the Matrix Driver everything SEEMS to have worked out fine apart from the two screen capture i made during these issues which wont open because "window photo viewer cant open this picture because either photo viewer doesn't support the file format or you don't have the latest updates to photo editeor" - Again wrong because they both worked before i uninstalled the Matrix drivers

What is wrong hear, what is the next step?

Thanks for the help
