Well, i recived this Card (EVGA GeForce 7950 GX2 SuperClocked 1024MB GDDR3) and a AMD X2 4400+ (939), i installed both peices at the same time and started up my system, everything fine, installed the drivers from the CD in the box for the Gfx card (before my upgrade i had a BFG 7800GT, uninstalled the drivers prior to upgrade).

Restarted my computer and it wouldnt boot, i pulled the card out and replaced it again making sure it was sat in place, cleared the CMOS and switched the power on and pc loaded up fine. Next day i boot my computer and the screen is black and the Mobo is ringing out a long Beeeeeep. I hit restart and it boots up fine. I have to keep doing this everytime i start my PC up

Mobo: DFI LanParty NF4 UT-SLI D
CPU: AMD X2 4400+ (939)
Audio: X-Fi Music
RAM: 2GB Corsiar XMS 3200
PSU: 600w SLI

When installing a new CPU it's advisable to reinstall windows or if possible format your system drive and do a clean reinstall.

Why?

Hes hasn't moved chipsets upgrading to a dual core from a single core s939.

I Have upgraded cpu's many times without the need for a reinstall.
