Hi all,
Bit of a weird one.
So, I noticed in HWiNFO64 and all other monitoring software including the bios that the name of my fans i.e. "CPU" "System 1" etc. etc. seem to be a bit mixed up.
So what I see physically plugged into the CPU fan header and leading to a radiator is reported as being a case fan somewhere completely different in the build.
What is even stranger is that all the fans are directly plugged into the motherboard. I am not even using any splitters, yet they all seem to be mixed up.
I have even tested this by using fan stop and looking at what fan stops when I put it to 0% rpm.
Has anyone ever come across anything like this before?
Basics are, it's an AM5 system, no fan hubs or anything, fans connected directly.
Thanks for anyone's input!
