weird one this.
let me explain the setup

USA has exchange 2010 server > uk office 1 >uk office 2 all via cisco ASA VPN

uk office 1 fine
uk office 2 when on site outlook now crashes when tring to send an email or open a new. a laptop from office 1 goes to office 2 and outlook crashes
laptop from office 2 comes to office 1 and its fine.

thoughts?

office 2 has been fine for a year and a half since we put it in place

Start with the basics: can you PING the server from Office 2? By name? By IP address? Is there anything useful in the event logs? Does Outlook work in safe mode (/safemode, not Windows Safe Mode)? What has changed? Windows updates? Infrastructure changes?

Any plugins/addons on Outlook? Worth trying as mentioned above to start it in safemode if possible to see if it still happens.

Do you have a CAS Array? if not then it may be on the wrong CAS you would have to go to their profile and type the local server then check name and it will work.

Go to outlook systray icon and hold ctrl and right click and check the connection information you can see where its connecting.

yup as above, start with the connection endpoints.

where is the CAS/CAS Array?
where is the mailbox located physically?
are the DNS entries right?
what is the exch URI (not URL)?
