strange issue with pc...PLEASE HELP

HI!
DUNNO WHAT ACTUALLY IS WRONG BUT...it started today!

when i play games (crysis, cod4 & waw...) after short period games stops to respond...

it never happend before!

can it be a card issue? i am on 4870 (8.11 driver)

also, my pc is Clocked to 3.8ghz, it was clocked to 4ghz and 4.2ghz, but today droped speed to 3.8ghz!

Take off your overclock and see if the problem is still there? If it isn't then put back the overclock and see what happens!

If it's fine at stock and wobbly when overclocked then you need to run some more stability tests and tweak the overclock until it's stable.
