Strange issue

OK got myself a new Mobo last week MSI G45 Z87 and all seems good ....but every now and again ( about twice a day) my Ducky Shine 2 Keyboard and my RAT 5 Mouse back-lighting goes off...and for about 3 seconds I cant use either then they come back on , any ideas anyone please ?

I have the same thing happening with my Evga z87 classified, with Razer abyssus and roccat isku.
I think it is an usb driver, probably needs updating.
Maybe bios as well.

Funny you saying that about the USB Bart....as when I plug the mouse in one of the back USB ports the motherboard doesnt seem to like it...ie it wont work nor will the KB

But i did update the BIOS

Well, I can't imagine its anything else.
On some rare occasions I had to reset the pc and put kboard and mouse on usb 2.0, launch it that way so system recognise it, restart again with them in usb 3.0 and it worked again.
Happened maybe 2-3 times within a month so far.

Oh and keyboard always froze on windows login screen, nowhere else.

ahhh yes I had some freezing issues just after i swapped out my other mobo for this one ....but I'll give it a twirl in the morning
