Was plugging my external SSD drive into the USB Type-C port on the back panel of my motherboard when it lost power. After that it wouldn't power on and thought the PSU might have gone but I removed a stick of RAM and then it then powered up but didn’t POST.
So I removed all but one stick of RAM (I have four) then it POST and loaded Windows. So I put back the RAM sticks one at a time and it POST and loaded Windows with all sticks in but it wouldn’t run them at 3200.
So I ran them at 3000, then 3133 and when I tried 3200 again it worked. So now the machine appears to be running fine and my external USB Type-C drive is connected.
