Installed XP on my Macbook a few weeks back, and ever since there has something that has bugged me, and has started to become a real nusiance. My "" keys when typed in XP on my Macbook appear different to when they are typed on a dedicated Windows machine. There sheer appearence wouldn't bother me, but when doing some Coldfusion work and I test the code, it actual picks the strange "" as an error and doesn't recognise them as actual quotation marks. The only way to fix it is to either change them all on a dedicated Windows machine.

Has anyone experience this at all?

*Sigh*

YES - it's really annoying! - I altered something within the keyboard settings in control panel - that made it work!

I'm at work at the moment and not at my Mac so I can't tell you anymore till later!

You life saver! Look forward to hearing the solution. :)

I beleive it was something along the lines of making sure that your keyboard is set oto the UK one - I had to change that to make it do it for me.

Fiddled about with the regional settings and managed to get it back to a standard Windows keyboard.

Much appreciate the help mate, you're a life saver.
