Strange line on NEC MultiSync 20WGX2

Just notice something unusual on my screen. On the left hand side about an inch and a half in starting from the top of the screen, is what looks like a faded stain (My screen is clean:]) that goes vertically down the screen about 4 inches. It's not in your face but its there and I can notice it all the time now.

Any ideas as to what this is?

It is strange, even stranger as it doesn't show up on my desktop!

I'm hopeing it's not a sign of any impending fault

I've captured a photo of it as best I can, anyone seen anything like this before ? It does look worse in the flesh.

Cheers, I bought it from OcUk around Oct 2006. Just had a look on NEC's site and they state : 1. REPLACEMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT
NEC DISPLAY SOLUTIONS EUROPE GMBH will collect the defective product from the customer and will replace it normally within the next 2 working days with an intact product of equivalent or higher value.

Which seems pretty good, i'll have to give them a ring.

Yeh i'll see what they say, I know they do an identical looking thats a "pro" version. Not sure what the difference is. Saying that this is the best quality screen i've had, apart from this problem the image quality is amazing.
