strange line on screen

noticed a strange sparkling line running from the bottom of my screen, about 3-4 inches high and 1-2 inches from the left side, appears now and then but seems to be worse today. anyone have any idea what could be causing this. btw monitor is a vx2025 running at 1680x1050 thx in advance

yep its a tiny vertical line about a pixel wide unfortunately its to small to take a pic of but today its a lot longer than yesterday. almost half the screen now.
