Strange little problem when switching on

Hi,

Got a slight concern with my PC.

It's fairly old (P4 3ghz HT, Gigabyte Springdale board, 1GB DDR Ram, 9800pro and an Antec Trueblue 480w PSU).

I switch the power off at the mains every night when I'm finished with the PC. The next day when I get home from work I switch the power on at the mains and all the lights on my case fans light up and start to spin, but only for a second. Then I turn the power on at the front of the case and off I go.

Is this anything to be concerned about? I've tried using the switch on the back of the PSU as well and I've tried a different surge protector that all my PC equipment is plugged into and it still does it.

Should I just be leaving the mains on while I'm not using it?

Thanks

This sometimes is normal behavour, Does the computer normally work after its little spin up?

Yeah, it powers up fine and works flawlessly for hours on end!
I'll be honest, it's being doing this for quite some time, only it's now started to concern me a little.
