I have a NEC MultiSync 20WGX2 Monitor - It's brilliant - I've had it a year or so.
However, just today I noticed that at the top 1cm there is what looks like a tide mark. ie if you could imagine someone spilling coffee onto the edge of some paper (or a dirty bath!) - it has that sort of uneven stain as if some moisture had run in with dirt/dust and left a tide mark.
Of course it's clear from the design of the monitor that you couldn't spill something into that area (can't blame the kids)
This monitor is in my study along with other PC's and laptops which are all fine.
However the weather has just turned cold - first frosts of the year so the temps would have been cool last night in the room (10-15c I guess). So I'm wondering if it's condensation - you know how hot these TFTs get and I wondered if the sudden change in temps generated some moisture?
Has anyone else every experienced this and know what it might be?
