strange memtest with ballistix

I have some pc5300 ballistix and am getting some random bsod`s I have ran memtest over night woke in the morning to a screen with loads of red errors

It said tst 7 pass 14 blah blah Errors 644
It had done 24 passes and must have been about 5-6 hrs in
I restarted this morning and re ran whilst at work 17 passes no errors 6 hours

Due you guys think it may be a fault or it got hot in the middle of the night

oh how long should i run memtest for

could be heat buildup,

try disabling case fans to accelerate heating and run test again. if you get errors...

Seems to be a case for active cooling over the ram. . . always recommended from what I can tell with Micron memory as it always get hot.

my side fan in the case is not working didnt notice that, that may be the problem

if you are getting BSOD now and then, that´s RMA time mate

it could work like that, for a long time,but it was very annoying

I now after two dead kits of that mem
