Strange 'message' at the bottom of phishing email

I have just received an obvious 'phishing' email, haven't we all? However, I have noticed a trend that these emails tend to have hidden (white) text at the bottom the fake bank logo/message. For example, the one I recieved today from 'Barclays' was:

He looked up at her warily as she stood and reached into the little khaki bag. contest agouti Something flickered.

It stood atop the bureau, mute and thick and full of words he did not want to write, grinning with its one missing tooth. Her hands flew out, the bottle of champagne dropping from them unheeded. but there all resemblance ended. "They're back,;she whispered. "he asked. The porch stairs were every bit as steep as he had feared, but even if there had been a wheelchair ramp (a possibility he never would have accepted in a spirited game of Can You? Not that there was much to look at  the furnace, the remains of a coal-pile, a table with a bunch of shadowy cans and implements lying on it and to his right, up a way from where be was propped. actinic...

They always appear to poems, literature or bible quotes! Why do they do this :confused:.

Well these guys are not just spammers though are they? They are actively trying to obtain our banking security details by deception. Passionate ones nonetheless I suppose! :p
 
Maybe its to make them selfs feel better and what they are doing is right :) giving the chance for a victom to discover the text to stop them being scammed if not oh well there fault ? maybe also to warn off other scammers
