Strange Mobo Problem (ASUS P5B Deluxe)

Evening all.

I've got a really strange problem with my PC which I can only put down to being something with the mobo.

Long story short:
I turn off my pc this evening to have dinner, everythings ok. I go back 45mins - 1hr later and the power switch didn't do squat. Taking the power cable out of the psu and putting it back in again resulted in the machine powering up (by this I mean lights came on and fans started spinning) for approx. 25 seconds and shut off - with no post.
I reset the cmos and everything booted fine. So I shut the machine down to put it all back together (plugged in second monitor, screwed gfx card back down and put the side panels on).
Now it won't boot again. The only life I get out of it now is a "boot" loop (same 25 second thing as before - still with no posting) when I take the power cable out and plug it back in. When I switched the psu off to stop the continuous boot loop I got two beeps from the motherboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I'm a n00b - the mobo is a P5B, not a P35 :p

Edit2: After a second reset of the cmos, I can't even get the machine to boot, post or anything :( just the "boot loop"

Cheers,
