Strange Noise coming from New Build

theres a strange sound coming from the PC I built recently (it seems to happen at random (& rarely) but it sounds like an old kettle boiling (that high pitch whistle) it lasts around a minute and the only change I notice on screen is the task bar changes to a pale blue then goes back to normal) once i think the screen also went black but just for a second, any ideas what could be causing this or more importantly how to fix it? its extremely loud & very worring

Is it coil whine?

Stress the system for a bit and the vrms that do it should burn in and quiet down.

the Pc was just sitting idle for a couple of hours while I was there today & it happend twice during that time (just idle on desktop nothing running)

Can you identify where the sound is coming from (use a bog roll tube or other)

Try running benchmarks such as Cinebench, 3 dmark, asus realbench multiple times to burn the components in (I seen this mentioned on another site, I actually think they said use folding at home app)

the noise hasnt happened again yet, I dont think my friend is too worried about it (hes certainly not gonna do benchmarks) I think it was just the initial shock of the sound that spooked him (like it was gonna blow up or something lol). but seemd rly strange to me aswell.

maybe just needs to settle
