Strange noise from pc when I move my mouse wheel!!!

Its alsmost like a barely audible grinding noise coming from the pc when I move my mouse wheel.. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I know its not the mouse... as I have moved it far from the pc, yet the noise still comes from the pc.. I dont have a pc speaker, so I know its not wifi interference..

I can almost scratch with it when I move the mouse wheel about.. but the novelty has worn off now..

Coming through your headphones or speaker? Most likely electrical interference. I know with my sound, (I only use headphones), every time the GPU has to output a new frame (scrolling with the mouse wheel for example), a buzz comes through the headphones. When I'm playing a game with high FPS, it gets really annoying. It's weird, if I take my sound through the front panel, it buzzes, but if I use the back panel sockets, some of the sound doesn't work. For example in Half Life 2, I can only hear people if I face to the side when they speak. Almost as if my character's 'ears' can only hear sideways. I'm hoping buying a sound card will help.

Yeah I get the exact same problem. I think it comes from the graphics card itself. I rarely notice as I always have the volume loud

I sometimes get a strange buzzing sound from my pc when i scroll up and down a web page.
