I'm going to get my bike checked out at a garage but I wondered if anyone has any idea on what could be causing this.
Yamaha Thundercat - when riding and accelerating there is a bit of a 'whirring noise' that was not there previously. When releasing the throttle at high revs there is a kind of 'metallic rattling' noise. It doesn't make this noise if you release the throttle at under 5k rpm.
It doesn't make any noise at standstill or when moving and the clutch is in so I'm guessing it's drivetrain related.
Any ideas? I hope it's nothing serious
