Sytem spec:
Q6600
Asus p5k-e
4x1 gb OCZ 6400
Corsair 620w PSU
8800GT
I am new at OCing and need some advice from you gurus.
I run my system at 356 x9 (3.2 ghz), vcore 1.2875, 2.000 on the ram and it's perfectly stable.
Yesterday I tried 8x400 in order to run the memories at their intended speed. It booted fine and was stable in windows but when i tried certain games it lagged like hell. Where i normally have 70+ fps i Had 10-12.
When i changed back to 356x9 everything was fine again.
What is the problem? Do i need to up vcore? Is it the ram? Something else?
