Strange OC problem

Have just changed cases but kept the same set up, i haven't added anything extra just some extra cooling now i cannot run at previous overclocks.

1090T, biostar 890GXE, 4Gb Geil blackdragon.

I have noticed a slight whine coming from the motherboard at high stress (IBT) but that could have been there before as my set up is much quieter now.

I have kept an eye on voltages coming from the PSU and all seems fine.

It seems the higher overclock ie the more power i need the quicker it crashes out, the screen goes black but fans etc keep power, it can only be reset by turning off from the PSU and flicking the power switch a couple of times...this is leading me to belive it might be a PSU problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved it was a temp problem either NB or power VRMs, have fitted some direct cooling and im running Prime as i type this, NB under stress has gone down from 60-80C to 40ish.

Shame i wanted it to be the board to give me an excuse to go Sandybridge :(
