Hey so yesterday I did a strip job on my computer took everything out, cleaned it and added a few new watercooling components. When I finally got it all back in the case early hours this morning I was hit with a problem where once the computer was turned on it wouldn't power down.

Now I have a Asus p6t motherboard which has the power and reset button on the motherboard and even pressing the power button on that still causes it to do nothing. The only way for the system to power down is to unplug the powersupply.

I've done all the usual stuff like checking everything is connected right and it seeks to be I,be also removed the lithium cell battery and reset the CMOS with still no prevail. Also when I plug in my monitor it just throws up a no signal error. So I'm stupmed and willing to try anything at this point so hopefully someone had an idea. Also I appoligise for any horrid spelling errors I'm using my phone and it keeps changing words =/

Had this once on a server. Turns out there were funny things going that the case was creating a connection as the mainboard was touching somewhere. Really freaky...

I solved it turns out the Waterblock was too tight and making the rear bracket to touch the case which was short circuiting the MB.

All working now :D

Check the Build log section I'll soon upload some pictures look for (Project Aquarius Redux)
