Strange occurrence with order

Hello all,

To try and keep it simple I ordered a graphics card and wireless headset from Overclockers on Friday at 9am and paid for Saturday delivery (today), the graphics card had 10+ in stock and the headset had 1 in stock so I added both to my cart and paid.

The time passed and it wasn't moving off "In our warehouse queue" so I started to panic and suspect that it would not arrive, low and behold it wasn't shipped and I didn't get it. At first I suspected the headset had a few orders as it was on offer and only had 1 in stock so I guessed someone got to the last one before me and took a moment for the website to update.

I was disappointed of course as I really wanted the graphics card more than anything, so I contacted them Saturday to cancel the order as I did not want to wait for the headset to come into stock. This went through fine and they replied 10 minutes later saying the order had been cancelled and refunded at which point I noticed the headset went back up to 1 in stock which left me both frustrated and confused as to what even happened for the order to not get shipped as I have used Overclockers for a while and just built a new expensive computer with them and it was all fine.

Wondered if anyone may have some insight or idea what may of happened?

Probably a stocking error. They happen everywere from time to time. More common over Xmas I know were my fiancé works they are shutting store Monday for a full stock count as Xmas periods left them with a few issues with click and collect online stock counts etc.
 
Unfortunately it happens. There's so many things it could have been. Thankfully it happens rarely(only once myself) and they're normally really good about sorting it out.
