Strange one re printing stuff

I need something that will create PDFs from stuff I have printed, however I need to be able to add a backdrop, for example I have a template and when I print to PDF, it will print on top of that template, any ideas?

[edit] i've just re-read the post properly and see it's regarding printing to PDF rather than paper, my bad

I don't know if this is part of Windows or Canon drivers (I have a Pixma ip4000) but if I go to Printer Properties > Page Setup tab > Stamp/Background button, I have the options to add a background to the printed document. I've never used it but worth a go if it's there
