Strange one

sky phoned tonight and tried the usual, talking me into a new deal with them which i must admit was fair enough.

Sky tv
Sky + recording
Sky broadband
for £39 a month

i pay £25 a month for my current connection, so i was thinking of going for this, but here is the strange thing.

I am currently with Plusnet with a connection of 1.1mbps but i asked the guy on the phone from sky to check the connection and see what speed i could get. He came back and said my line can get 3.1mbps???

This is strange because i thought plusnet would have upgraded me automatically??

Whay would this be?
Anybody with sky broadband, any concerns?

Also they have forums to the specific ISP's.

The Sky Related One doesn't seem to have people all complaining about the same thing and even has some people saying they are trying to order, so it can't be all bad.

although according to the 2nd link Posted they do rate a little lower in most aspects in comparison to plusNet
