Strange PC Issue - Keeps restarting

Hi im having an issue with my PC. It keeps restarting. Sometimes it will last 3 hours but typically its only about 10 mins before it restarts. Recently it sometimes cannot even boot up and just keeps restarting before BIOS or Windows login screen loads.

I thought at first it was the Power supply so I have bought and fitted a new one but the problem persists (although after fitting it stayed on the longest time without resetting in a while, probably a coincidence?)

I read that some people were getting this issue with a dodgy CMOS battery so I have replaced that too but problem is still here.

Do you have any ideas what it could be / what I can test?

Thanks

what mobo and cpu are you using? I had the exact same symptoms in my machine and through swapping parts came to the conclusion that the mobo was on its way out

Simple things first, try removing RAM and reseating it, check CPU fan is running and free of dust build up. CPU's these days have thermal protectors built in and shut down when they hit a certain temp. Maybe this could be the problem?

Ive removed 3 of the 4 ram sticks (4th is hard to access) and then tried booting with just 1 stick but problem persists.

I dont think its anything to do with CPU temps as it will sometimes not boot at all even when hasnt been used for hours.

Thanks :)
