Strange power issue

I have recently had some issues regarding switching on my PC, when I press the power button it doesn't switch on straight away, it takes 3 seconds (usually it's instant), it then boots into American Megatrends screen and says "Please enter setup to recover BIOS setting"

I go into the BIOS, I've tried changing the boot order but that makes no difference. What is weird is that if I just press exit and make zero changes it continues to load Windows like normal:confused:

More recently I have just noticed my PC no longer wants to go into sleep mode also the fan seems to be kicking in a lot more and is generally louder.

Could it be the CMOS battery on the motherboard? (computer is 6 years old)

Yeah, worth a try.
I tried another CMOS battery, still the same issue.

One thing I have noticed is that when it loads the American Megatrends screen it states:

"Detected ATA/ATAPI devices...
M.2: Lenovo SSD M.2 256G"

"Please enter setup to recover BIOS setting"

I have tried to change the boot order but it still keeps doing it, is my SSD on it's way out?
