Hi OCuk

Hope you dont mind (and im not after buying them, just spotted them on your home page)

2 sticks of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-072-PA cost £44.99

4 sticks of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-071-PA cost £107.99

Unless im missing something here are these not the same?
it would make more sense to buy 2 x 2 sticks for £89.98

Just thought id point this out in case it is a "slip of the pen"
Good price though! (for the 2 sticks that is! :-) )

Patriot will have tested the quad channel ram to ensure it will run together at the quoted speeds. The dual channel sets can be used in pairs to go quad channel, but they haven't been tested to guarantee to run at the speeds in a group of 4, only as a pair.

ahh, i see... maybe im starting to look stupid now....
But at last i have learned not to but 2 sets of dual channel in future!

With those prices I would still buy 2 sets of dual channel as its cheaper and although there's no guarantee on the speed part it will 90% of the time be completely fine as RAM is pretty stable nowadays.

Shouldn't make a difference.
