Strange problem after overclocking

A few months ago i overclocked my phenom. now everytime i boot up my computer from cold the overclock settings dont take affect and the cpu runs at a higher voltage; i think have to restart my computer in order to maintain my 3.9ghz overclocked speed and voltage.

Any ideas?

mine also is a 960t..

I use some amd software, forgot what its called and yes i used the BIOS

when i tried to unlock 6 cores it F*ucked up royally

nope i dont have to touch the bios.. just restart my machine.... maybe your correct

its probs just my software not doing what it should be, if my voltage is set at 1.3v on my bios.. it surly cant randomly boot up at 1.5v
