Got this strange problem here, right when i first turned my PC on today, i had to login to everysite again, like all my cookies had been cleared, now i thought nothing off it just thinking it was a one off, and my PC had just had a bit of a fit, but ive noticed everytime i restart, i have to do the same again, re login everywhere.

Ive also noticed the odd time my popup blocker popping up saying its blocked something, but that could be random, like when i could be replying to a post in here for example, my pop up blocker will just activate, and when it does sometimes in my start bar i get a minimized cannot find server box, and when i open it up to see what it is, it goes full screen (covers everything), and has the page cannot be displayed rubbish in it, and i have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the Task Manager up so i can close it.

Ive ran spyware scanners/virus scanners and found absolutely ziltch, so im at a loss as to why its suddenly started happening, as said it only started when i first turned my PC on today.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be.

Thanks. :)

It could very well be some malware as it sounds like your security settings have been reset.

Also it is probably a good thing to not let Internet Explorer, Firefox or any other web browser you may use, remember your passwords. There is a well publicised exploit that affects all browsers and can compromise all your passwords.

Download a copy of HiJackThis.

First make a folder on your computer in my documents called Hijackthis and then Unzip it to that folder.
Then doubleclick the Hijackthis.exe.

Click the Scan button, when the scan is finished the scan button will become Save Log click that and save the log.
Go to where you saved the log and click on Edit > Select All then click on Edit > Copy then paste the log at one of the sites listed here, or the one in my signature.

It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required,
so do NOT fix anything yet.

Thanks, but ive decided to do a format and reinstall, aint done one since i put my new PC together, so it could do with one, spose its a good excuse now as well. :D

Well a format did the trick, im staying logged in now so bugger knows what was up, but thanks for the hijackthis, ill download it and keep handy so i can use that if owt happens again.

Thanks. :)
