Guys

My rig plays project cars fine, then after approx 30 mins play the frames will go from 70 right down to 23 and that's where it stays.

Everything becomes choppy, and even if I restart the game it stays at the choppy frame rate.

If I reboot the PC and start the game again it runs fine, then again ends up choppy after approx 30-45 mins.

The only thing I have clocked is my CPU and ive never had this problem in the past.

Strange thing is it did it when I played GTA a few weeks back but I thought it might be the game that was buggy, but now its doing the same thing on project cars.

Its like the frame rate just suddenly drops for some reason.

Any ideas?

Ive checked the temps and everything seems OK, nothing overheating or anything.

Thanks for the reply guys, no im not using Opera.

The system has been running a bit slow lately so I may just reformat it and see if that makes a difference, if not ill have to assume its hardware related.....maybe psu?

Reformat first I think then take it from there.

Thanks guys will let you know how I get on.

Won't be psu, a psu either works or it doesn't they is no middle ground.

Check temps also, ram usage, vram, HDD speed, see you using nvidia make sure Physx is not on the cpu.

GTA V is know to getting choppy when the virtual memory filled up. Allocate a bit more for it, and see if it helps.
