Strange problem mate is having with BFBC2 & Win7

Just wondering if anybody can help one of my clan members as this is doing his and my head in!

He can boot into BC2 with XP, but every time he tries it with Win7 he CTD as soon as he tries to join a game. Can load up the game, get the server lists but try and join and CTD.

We have fiddled with all his settings and have put them all as low as possible but it still happens. Do not have the spec to hand but it is not a bad rig and I do not think it is the problems as it works fine on XP. He is going to get a 5770 to try and cure it but I am not sure if this will make any difference?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
 
seems strange i am running win 7 64bit myself and no problems, i have had the odd crash but i think that's down to the game and not my system, if it works fine on win xp then it has to be a problem with the game, did you try reinstalling the game again ? does other games play ok on windows 7 ?
 
Same no real problems with win7 64.

just the one that sometimes pops up saying It running out of resources, change colour scheme to basic etc.

But it does not stop my game play.
