Right before I start I should explain that I usually connect my pc to my router through ethernet, I only have a standard BT router so its basically just 1 ethernet, 1 usb and wireless.
I wanted to connect my xbox to the web but was unable to connecting it straight to the router as it couldnt reach the dns servers. So I thought if I connected the xbox to my computer through ethernet and connected my pc to the router through usb it would work, well it did but this is where the problem arose.
Now that I have finished with the xbox on the net it wont go back to using internet through the ethernet cable, I have tried disconecting the usb and unistalling BT's usb drivers but it still wont connect. I tried connecting the usb back up and it works fine.
I have checked to see if there is anyway to tell the computer which wire to get internet from but cant seem to find anything, any ideas????
