When ever i launch into my bios my mouse sticks in the corner. the mouse is definitely working and recognized because if i move the mouse the mouse moves from that point for a second then snaps back to that point.

I've tried with a different mouse, to no avail.

Also if your motherboard has a PS/2 slot for a mouse, then use that. Sometimes USB mice bork up and so can't be used before an OS boots up/the device has been installed. But anyhow, do any numbers update in the BIOS itself (like CPU freq, temps etc) to indicate that the BIOS is actually working or is it seemingly just frozen?
