strange problem with calling abroad

hi all,

my girlfriend is currently in austria skiing at the moment, tried calling her earlier, and i could hear her fine. all she could hear was hissing ( like a fax noise ). when she called me back it was fine. did this a couple of times.

i am on tmobile and she is on vodaphone. is there anything we can do to fix it, as its cheaper for me to call her.

You may want her to find a pay phone then use one of them websites which allow to you to call abroad using free minutes. If thats a grey area feel free to delete edit as you will
