Think something on my PC is borked but cannot decide what it is!
Basically it started when the PC would occationally lock up and I had to manually reset which at first I thought was the HD but i've removed the HD's and tried booting and it still freezes at all different points (froze on the post screen, froze when loading the windows XP CD etc) now the PC wont even come on 90% of the time yet the fans all spin so I dont think its the PSU?
Which leaves the Motherboard, RAM, GFX or CPU really?
Anyone got any suggestions?
Motherboard is the ASRock Dual series one which has a big thread in the mobo forum.
RAM = 1GB of Geil Value
Graphics = 9800 pro

when I switch the PC on all the fans start running and the CD Drive keeps making a noise like it's trying to do something but nothing comes on the screen and it doesnt sound like anythings being loaded on the HD.
