Strange problem?

My mate installed Grand Theft on his pc today and he contacted me to say that when he clicked on 'play game' a window popped up & said 'Emulator detected, please deactivate virtual drive & emulation software'

What is this?

Anybody come across this before? Please Help if you can.

He probably has some software like Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools installed running a virtual drive. Its a copy protection mechanism which prevents you using an image of the CD/DVD on a virtual drive - ie without the actual disk.

Disable any such software and it should go away
