Strange Problem

I am running a titan xp at the moment and i purchased an rx 580 for my brother but he had issues getting it to fit in his case so i tried the card in my computer and for some reason as soon i plug another card into my system the computer wont display with the dp cable plugged into my titan but when i take the rx 580 out it displays again. do i need to change a bios setting to allow for more than one card or something?

You tried one you've plug in the DP and powered it on, tried removing the replugging in?

Had a few cards/systems when I've swapped cards I've had to do this to get the careen to wake up

yeah tried that, strange thing is the rx 580 will work when both cards are plugged in but not the titan lol
