Strange Quake 4 Problem

Recently picked this up on the "best of" range for a £5. Never played the full game before, just the demo.
I have installed it and patched it up, for some reason the menu options like video settings are all un clickable.
For instance I cannot change screen resolution or detail level, control options etc etc. They are just not clickable.
Game loads up fine, and plays/shoots fine in the settings im stuck at, but I dont wanna play it at 800x600 :eek:

Any suggestions for this?

You could no doubt force it with the .ini file if there is one but there is a settings file in the directory no doubt. But that is weird? maybe try re-installing and re-patching, hastle I know but might help solve it.

Yep, gonna try a re-install now, options in the multiplayer quake 4 are not changing either.

If worst comes to worst you can alter all the settings within the config file. For e.g. resolution = r_mode so...setting it to r_mode 6 would be an improvement. I'm sure someone here would email you a config with nice detail all on but hopefully a reinstall will do the trick
