Strange question, Phantom Menace...

Have they updated the Phantom Menace and implemented the new CGI Yoda yet? I didn't much like the new puppet they built.

Anal I know but out of the Star Wars prequels, the only one I've not yet bought on DVD is The Phantom Menace, partly because I've got the VHS version but also because it's my least favourite and I've never really bothered.

However, to complete the collection and have a nice row on my bookcase, I thought I'd pick it up, being so cheap these days....

I knew they were planning the CGI version, I just wasn't sure if it had been stuck into the movie yet.

Despite those downfalls, I think I'd like to have a DVD version anyway. I just don't have a decent enough cassette player to watch my old VHS on

The quality is rather pap.

Isn't the Jedi duel at the end of Ep 1 rated as one of the best live action duels?

I agree though, I must've been 10-11 when it first came out, my jaw hit the floor seeing proper lightsabre fights, droid armies and those awesome tanks.

This, Jar Jar Binks and C3POs cheesiness were the movies worst points.

Episode 2 was better, I liked how it got darker leading up to Episode 3. Clone battles, Yoda fighting, much better cinema memories for me
