Hi all.
So the past 3 days my GPU has seemingly lost the plot. When gaming, my screen will randomly go black and the PC goes totally unresponsive.
Oddly though, there have been a handful of times where the screen has gone black and I'd thought it had crashed but it will come back on after 5-6 seconds with "Windows 10 - Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered" notification on the taskbar. Everything is fine after that... until the next crash.
So I tried to uninstall the GPU drivers with DDU, only to discover that windows now will not detect the GPU at all.
It's running with my display port plugged into the GPU so im assuing (hoping) the GPU isn't dead? Any ideas?
Things I've tried:
Different PCI slot
Different PCI cable
Unistall drivers
Disable onboard drivers
Uninstall onboard drivers
Specs:
Asus Strix r9 380
MSI Z170A Gaming Pro
i5 6600k
EVGA P2 750w
8GB Geil White Dragon
Windows 10
