Strange RAM setting and Google hasn't helped

I have been searching Google for an answer to what -

ODT WR ( CHA )
ODT WR ( CHB )
ODT NOM ( CHA )
ODT NOM ( CHB )

Mean and how they help with memory stability and OC'ing. I understand the CHA and CHB are referring to the memory slots but as for ODT WR and ODT NOM im stuck?

The available settings in them are

ODT WR ( CHA ) - auto, 60, 120
ODT WR ( CHB ) - auto, 60, 120
ODT NOM ( CHA ) - auto, 20, 30, 40, 60, 120
ODT NOM ( CHB ) - auto, 20, 30, 40, 60, 120

Does anyone know what they are and what they do? Will they help me achieve a higher memory OC?
 
what speed/dram voltage and timings are you using atm? usually advanced timings are fine on auto,trcf can be lowered to improve things usually
 
idk what those settings are,maybe they are exclusive to asrock boards? i know lowering trfc will help as for the other advanced timings i leave them on auto

currently running 8gb samsung green @2133mhz 9-10-10-24 1t timings at stock cpu vtt and 1.55v dram voltage,trfc is at 88,2400mhz i couldnt get to boot but im on z68/sb system
 
Explaining exactly what they do is complicated, but they are the settings for the memory On Die Termination resistors. The point of these resistors is to stop signal reflections. Setting this as low as possible should ideally improve performance, but it may affect stability. The AUTO setting should be good enough for all intents and purposes. Generally the higher the frequency of the RAM, the lower you should set this figure if you want to adjust it yourself.

TY for clearing that up for me, seeing as i cant get anything above 2133MHz stable, i will have a play ;)
